Napa and Sonoma Valleys are the most iconic wine regions in the United States, and wine is the draw, but don’t let this area fool you. There’s more to California Wine Country than meets the eye. Here are the top 5 non-wine
1. Take a hot air balloon ride to watch the sunrise. This is one of the most unique and inspiring ways to see Napa and Sonoma. From high above the ground, you’ll be able to see the order and care taken to grow grapes.
2. Take a yoga class in a vineyard. Many Napa and Sonoma vineyards open their gates for yoga. Classes are taught by certified instructors. It’s the perfect way to switch up your fitness routine.
3. Eat at a Michelin Star restaurant. Located in Yountville, French Laundry has earned three Michelin stars. It is considered one of the Top 50 Restaurants in the world. Reservations are a must and will need to be made far in advance.
4. Go for a bike ride. The Napa Valley Vine Trail runs from south Napa all the way up to Yountville. Rental bikes are available for the 25-mile round trip.
5. Enjoy a spa treatment. Many hotels and resorts have their own private spas. Treatments change with the seasons to make sure you are receiving what your body needs. No matter what you’re looking for, Napa and Sonoma have the activities for you. We would love to put together an itinerary for you which includes all California Wine Country has to offer.
Cheers! Sincerely, Your Aiden and Ivy Travel Designer
