Lydia has never measured travel by the destination alone.
She’s always been inspired by the artistry behind making dreams come true. Long before founding Aiden & Ivy, she believed that the most meaningful investment anyone can make is in the experiences they carry with them for the rest of their lives.
That philosophy was shaped early. As a competitive athlete, Lydia traveled extensively throughout her childhood and was recruited for two different Olympic sports. She also lived with host families in Costa Rica and England, sparking a lifelong curiosity about the world’s varied ecosystems and an appreciation for cultural heritage and the human-to-human connections that provide real meaning.
Years later, Lydia built a successful career in admissions and human resources at Harvard University. When the pandemic reshaped the world, she finally pursued the vision she'd carried since adolescence. Aiden & Ivy was founded to fill a gap in the luxury market: the compromise between five-star comfort and aesthetic, and environmental stewardship.
Rather than acting as a traditional agent or volume planner, Lydia serves as a creative partner for her clients, approaching each trip with the accuracy of an architect. Similar to building a house from the ground up, every detail is meticulously engineered behind the scenes, ensuring exterior beauty is complemented by a foundation of strength and precision.
